The dentist treated the patient on approximately 36 separate visits. The patient terminated services prior to the completion of treatment on or about May 16, 2018.
On or about October 3, 2014, the dentist in Bryan, Texas initiated patient’s fixed prosthodontics treatment of the maxilla and mandible. On this date, provisional restorations’ were cemented, modified, and polished. Following this procedure, the dentist saw the patient for five (5) post-operative and/or provisional restoration evaluations through December 2014.
On or about January 27, 2015, the patient presented for delivery of the final maxillary restorations. On this date, the dentist seated and permanently cemented all maxillary restorations, except for teeth #3, #4, and #11, which had to be re-contoured.
As a response to the incident, the unprofessional conduct done by the dentist serves as evidence and became the basis of the Board’s decision to put the dentist into disciplinary action.
