Specifically, the dentist administered 3 capsules of 2% Lidocaine with 1:100,000 Epinephrine to the minor patient when 2.1 capsules were the maximum dose for this patient, who weighed 38 pounds at the time of treatment.

On the same day, the dentist fell below the minimum standard of care during the dental treatment of the minor patient. Specifically, the dentist:

a. over-prepared the pulp chamber during a pulpotomy of primary tooth A
b). failed to remove all of the pulp tissue during a pulpotomy of primary tooth 8;
c. fitted a stainless stool crown with open margins and improper seating on the distal of primary tooth B; d. failed to remove all of the pulp tissue during a pulpotomy of primary tooth H;
d. over-prepared the pulp chamber and perforated the chamber floor during a pulpotomy of tooth l;
f. fitted a stainless steel crown with open margins and improper seating on the distal of primary tooth I.

Unfortunately, because of the lack of a dental attorney to help her, the dentist has been subjected to disciplinary action.
