If you’re facing serious allegations from patients, and you think that additional disciplinary action should not be applied anymore, then be sure to hire a dental attorney who can fully assist you.

Unfortunately, a dentist from Austin failed to do this. This results in disciplinary action from the board. Always keep in mind that the board handles all of the cases that may affect the license from receiving the suspension, disciplinary action, or revocation. However, with a right dental attorney for the case, rest assured that the case can go according to the dentist’s favor, especially if she has a good defense against the case.

During August 2002 and June 2003, the dentist’s treatment of her patient was below the minimum standard of care in that the dentist failed to make, keep, and maintain adequate dental records for the patient.

Specifically, the records did not include all of the documentation required by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners rules.

During the same date of August 2002 and June 2003, concerning the fixed bridge procedure performed on her patient, the dentist’s treatment of her patient was below the minimum standard of care because her signature hereon does not constitute either admission or denial of the allegations set forth in this Order or the underlying complaint, and it does not constitute admission or denial of the findings of fact and the conclusions of law set forth.

Unfortunately, because of the lack of a dental attorney to help her, the dentist has been subjected to disciplinary action.
